Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I was pleasantly surprised by both the service and food at Mangia. We must have looked surprised when our party of three walked in, but the manager quickly gave us the run down. You order at the counter, sit wherever you want, and then they'll serve you your food. The menu had panini's, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, 1/2 and 1/2 combos and more. I got the chicken panini and caprese salad with a side of fries. It was all delicious! My friend also ordered a 1/2 panini and 1/2 salad combo while the other ordered a tortellini dish. I finished it all, but did not feel over-stuffed. It was reasonable priced for the size. We all left happy and satisfied. We were glad to get there around 11:45 and beat the rush. It has a big patio out front, but was in the shade the whole time. On a hot day, the shade might be nice.

The service is pretty consistent. Nice staff. But how do you run out of an item that is on your standard menu an hour and a half into lunch?!

awesome! yesterday was my first visit to this lovely cafe in such a visually stunning space (palazzo verdi building next to fiddlers green which also houses the madden museum of art). we placed our order at the counter and sat down for a short wait as our food was prepared. the arugula watermelon salad and the pesto chicken flatbread sandwich were both flavorful and delicious, not to mention the savory fries! we will definitely be making this a regular lunch spot, especially when it's a patio day! (it looks like they are only open for breakfast coffee/pastries and lunch but they do a jazz in june event on thursday's and serve tapas and wine/cocktails)

This is a really lovely place to eat lunch if you are in the area. It has a great outdoor patio, wonderful service, and a nice selection of soups, salads, paninis and pizzas, along with some burgers and specials. As someone else said, it is owned by Epicurean, and the food was delicious. I had a special which was a Buffalo Burger that I got with carmelized onions on it. I was surprised that the fries were just crinkle cut fries. Everything else was excellent. My husband got a chicken panini sandwich and loved it. Most meals are around $9. You order at the counter, and then take a number to sit, and they bring you your food. The staff was friendly and efficient. On the same floor is the Madden Museum of Modern Art which I would love to walk through in the future. A pleasant surprise in the DTC area.

First, it's important to note that they have the best sweet potato fries IN THE WORLD. If you take the addiction-level of a box of girl scout cookies and multiply it by the "can't-stop-at-one" feeling with potato chips, you'll understand how good their sweet potato fries are. I don't know what they coat them in... they're crispy like normal sweet potato fries and then tossed in some sort of slightly sweet, slightly salty not-too sticky goodness. I don't know what it is, which is probably a good thing. If I knew, I would be coating everything I ate in that delicious sauce. Their specials were a little out there. Good for them. It takes a confident chef to mix flavors like that (for example, oranges on a burger and clams on a pizza). Normally I'm adventurous, but today I just wanted caramelized onions and sausage. I ordered their Uncle Frank pizza (I think it was Uncle Frank. Something Frank.) It was really delicious, but GIANT. They only have one size pizza, and this was best suited to feed 2 or 3. Fortunately I'll have really tasty leftovers for dinner. My husband got their Rusty's (something... I forget) Burger. It had some sort of Italian deli meat on it. Husband promptly demanded, "You should start making me hamburgers with salami on them." He finished all of his and half of his fries (I was mowing down on the remaining half... SOO GOOD). I wanted to give Espressole a try for coffee, so I didn't try theirs, but I did spot that they have chocolate croissants which is my #1 weakness. I'll probably be back to grab one some morning in the future.

I'm surprised that the Yelp logarithms don't consider Mangia Bevi a pizza place. They have a special Italian high-temp oven just for pizza and the pie here is awesome. MB comes up as an Italian cafe. Well, it's not really that. Sure, the paninis are great, but for me it's all about the pizza and the pizza here shines. Being in a gorgeous highrise office building, I guess it makes sense that the cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch, but it sure would be great to get some of this awesome pizza for dinner. I think it's a missed opportunity for the neighborhood.

I think this place has just gotten better lately. Everything I've said in previous reviews holds true. Love everything I've gotten there. They've done some remodeling recently and have started doing specials of the day (which I always order off of now). Great lunch spot.

Magnia Bevi is located in the building next door to where I work. That being said I eat here A LOT. The service is amazing and the girls that work at the counter know me well. They have a lot of food variety and have new specials every week. They get busy everyday right at noon so if you can show up right before or around 1pm you will get in and out easier.

This is a really lovely cafe serving pizza, paninis, salads, coffee, and wine and beer. The last surprised me because I don't usually see that in the cafe at the bottom of a high rise. The whole building is really lovely. The architecture and interior design was very modern and refreshing. Ok, back to the food. This place wasn't that busy the first day I was there.. I actually wondered how they stayed afloat, but as the week went on, it became obvious they have plenty of fans. I had the Margaretha Pizza one day, and the Chicken Panini the other. Both were made to order and very good. The service was all smiles, especially the lovely Jessica who seemed to know everyone. They are open breakfast-lunch hours, but on Thursday, re-opened to server the pre Rod Stewart concert goers that were attending the venue next door. If you are in the area, try it. I don't see how you could be disappointed.

This is lunch with heart, and I include everyone from the grill to the cashier in that sentiment. I'm a little worker bee, not particularly outgoing or memorable. I have visited this cafe off and on for the last several weeks, and I can say unreservedly that this is one of the two best places to eat lunch in the area, both in terms of food (their soups are spectacular) and service. I have never once been treated poorly or served less than a wonderful breakfast or lunch, and I have absolutely no doubt I will continue to enjoy coming here in the future. Mangia also has a simple loyalty progam that is easy to set up and easy to use, so bon appetit!

Great for lunch, walking distance from work! Salads are great as well as pizza. Haven't had or tried something bad.

Two stars for the food, plus one for the nice setting with lots of seating. The chicken panini seemed like a frozen chicken breast, smashed and dry, on a store-bought French roll. The sweet potato fries were too sweet -- seeming bathed in syrup -- and chewy and overcooked. I should've sent it back, but they were closing up. Maybe it's worth returning and trying something else. Maybe not. There's a pretty nice art exhibit across the lobby.

My wife works across the street from here at Tuscany Plaza. We came for brunch once and had some excellent pizzas. Next door is the Steve Madden gallery, a great community service thanks to its benefactor of the same name. Right now I'm eating the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, with homemade chorizo sausage.

Parking lot is located next to the entrance of Fiddler's Green Amphitheater. This restaurant coffee cafe opens right before concerts but does not serve any alcohol. The $11 Soprano Pizza with flavorful sausage was large enough to feed 2 people. There is also a fancy private dinning room in the back that can be reserved for a board meeting. Buon appetito!

Good and convenient, If you work in this area this is probably the best place that you don't have to drive to. It is owned and operated by Epicurean (the high end caterers in town) and they do a good job with lunch - I just wish they were open a bit later on Fridays. It would be nice to have a place to grab a beer for happy hour before the weekend...

Absolutely EXCELLENT place to eat. Definitely one of my favorite lunch time cafes. Their hours are a little funky, with them being open primarily during the lunch hour and on some nights where there is a concert at Fiddler's Green next door. Apart from that, however, their food is incredible (most particularly, my friends and I all love their Sweet Potato Fries, the likes of which I have yet to find elsewhere). Wonderful service, great food, a friendly staff, and a beautifully clean location give this restaurant a fantastic dining experience that all can enjoy!

Sweet location and right next to a mini art gallery. Walking distance from where I work. Had their blackened chicken Caesar and it was mighty tasty. Great ambiance too and the staff is very friendly. When paying with debit/credit they do however write that info down the old fashioned way. Nothing to complain about here.

I haven't even eaten here yet, and I'm giving 5 stars for the awesome woman who answered the phone and handled my request with extraordinary professionalism and with customer service at the forefront of her mind. Thanks for making life easy at Mangia Bevi! We look forward to a great meal, and hopefully customer service as awesome as that which was provided by the woman who answered the phone today around 12:30 p.m. Kudos to competent people!

Strong drinks, brat wasn't grilled tough, was soft. Not a fan of it but the fries were great. It was a special concert menu. Should've tried a pizza because they look good.

This review is for breakfast. Husband works in the area so we stopped by for an alternate option to the usual places around here (Einstein's Bagels, Mod Market, Starbucks, etc.) and were happy to find a place that serves delicious breakfast sandwiches (think sausage-egg-cheese sandwich or bacon burrito) and at reasonable prices! We will try come by for lunch sometime.
(4)Mike F.
One of the better places to eat lunch in the area if you don't want to get in a car. Good soups, sandwiches, and gluten free pizzas!

I love this place and I make it here quite often. I like the variety they offer and it's tucked away behind the amphitheater so you really don't get much traffic. You are in and out so quickly. Sweet potato fries are amazing. Delicious. They have a bit of honey or something sweet. So if you like salty and sweet, this is the treat for you. Burgers are awesome. They are always spot on juicy and flavorful. Pizzas... yum! They are always so so good. One of my favorites around DTC for sure! You must go in and try their pizza. I've tried a lot of variations including the specials they have. Today I ordered the squash pizza BUT I DID NOT get that. It was missinf both the squash and yellow squash. Instead I got a marinara based pizza with onion, red peppers, and tomatoes. Yes it was delicious BUT it was NOT WHAT I ordered. :-( So if you are taking-away/to-go make sure you check your order.

Pizza looked yummy but i had the green chile blt. It was very good. Loved the sweet potato fries.

I love this place for both breakfast and lunch. My work team has a Friday morning burrito tradition, featuring their breakfast burrito and their chorizo burrito. For lunch, I recommend their burgers and their salads. I like their specials from time to time. For the new fall menu, I like the super food salad and the roasted vegetable salad.with salmon. It's a great place for a variety of people to enjoy breakfast and lunch. Enjoy!

Mangia baby! Love eating here. It's across the street from work so we hit Mangia up pretty regularly when the weather is nice. Sitting outside eating lunch al fresco on their patio is great. I've enjoyed their pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and desserts many times. All fresh and delicious. Their margherita and chicken pesto pizzas are favorites as is their salmon salad. Mangia's hard-working staff is so warm and friendly! They have daily lunch specials as well as standard favorites. Their menu changes seasonally as well so it stays fresh. Their sweet potato fries are killer! Definitely check them out. Sign up for their rewards program and get a FREE MEAL after 12 visits!

Came here with a group of Yelpers for UYE DTC lunch club. The location is somewhat difficult to find, and I wasn't even greeted at the door. Luckily, I knew my group was in a private room so I managed to find them on my own. I think our server was a little confused about the staggered arrivals of everyone but we all ordered pretty quickly. Menu options were decent if somewhat limited. Fellow Yelper Tiffany N and I went halvsies on a sandwich and salad. We shared the Balsalmic Chicken panini and their version of a kale salad. Both were good, but nothing terribly exciting or worth returning for probably. The space itself is pretty nice and cozy feeling. It certainly would be a good option for business workers in the immediate area.
